You’re invited to attend Kootenay Co-op Radio’s Annual General Meeting, Bigby Place, 3 pm, Sunday, October 27th
The past year for KCR was filled with things to celebrate and, going forward, some serious challenges to navigate.

This year we celebrated: A successful funding drive, great new staff members, more awards from the National Campus and Community Radio Association, growth of Kootenay Morning, a ton of new programs this fall, and super events like Blues, Brews and BBQ, the Kootenay Music Awards, the Summer Kayak Raffle, and the Polar Bear Swim.

Challenges we face going forward: We have a cash flow crunch lurking just around the corner. We need to revitalize our sponsorship efforts and fundraising events.

This is an important AGM. Come hear about – and contribute to – our plans to keep your community radio station on-air.

KCR turns 20 this year and we have a lot of work to do in the coming year and years ahead.

Come exercise your right as a member of the co-operative to elect your 2019/20 board of directors.
