This year, Kootenay Co-op Radio is delighted to announce that we will be partnering with Save-On Foods to host the annual Canada Day sandcastle building competition!

On July 1st from 1pm to 3pm, you’re invited to join us down at Lakeside Park in Nelson. Stop by our booth to register your castle for judging. We have all sorts of fantastic prizes, including a $400 gift card for Save-On Foods!

Bring your own building supplies and don’t forget to dress for the weather!
