EcoCentric

West Kootenay energy report, extreme rain, unsettling 150

The West Kootenay has produced a report on where Kootenay communities -- from Nelson to Nakusp -- are at on reducing fossil fuels. Host Keith Wiley speaks with Montana Burgess from the EcoSociety about it. A guest piece from EcoShock.net hears from UCLA climate scientist David Neelan on extreme rain. Clayton Thomas Muller is a first nations environmental activist. He talked at length on a 350.org Canadian webinar on the position of first nations in our environment and climate change struggles. As always the show closes with the Environment News.
