Despite the lack of snow as of late, the province’s snowpack is at 107 per cent of normal. However, the warm weather and unseasonal rain are making for tricky travel in the high country, and everyone’s wondering when the snow will return… The State of the Snowpack organization held its latest info session last week. The grassroots organization originated in Nelson and has since expanded to 10 chapters across Canada. Catherine Paone has been with SOTS since its local launch in 2019.
