Mandatory masks indoors and reserving your seat at the bar?
Rebeckah Hornung from Whitewater Ski Resort stopped by Kootenay Morning on Aug. 21 to let KCR know a bit about what next season up at the ski hill will look like.
WH20 shuttered its doors in March as a result of the global Pandemic and is mandating guests wear masks indoors this upcoming winter.
“We’ll have facemasks mandatory inside, and we’re looking at the safest way to operate this winter. That’s where this decision came from,” said the WH20 rep.
Hornung told KCR resort patrons can expect to have to reserve your space at the pub this winter as well as wear a mask inside. She also said that the resort is paying close attention to operations in the southern hemisphere and in touch with the rest of the ski resort industry to chat what lift lines will look like.
Early-bird season passes went on sale earlier this week.
