Welcome to Keili bartlett!

 

Keili Bartlett is new to the Kootenays, but this East Coaster has been working in journalism for years. After working with the CBC in London, England, she got her start in radio broadcasting as a reporter for CBC Newfoundland’s Morning Show in Gander before heading west. In the Rockies, she worked on podcasts for the Banff Centre and wrote for the Where Canadian Rockies tourism guide. In 2017, she moved to B.C. and has since reported for community newspapers in Prince Rupert, Victoria and Squamish. When she’s not sharing local stories, you can find Keili on the trails, shooting film or climbing mountains. Keili joined the Kootenay Co-op Radio team thanks to the Local Journalism Initiative, part of the Community Radio Fund of Canada.
