Get ready for the 2023 Nelson Polar Bear Swim!

Kootenay Co-op Radio and Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society are thrilled to announce that the 2023 Nelson Polar Bear Swim will take place at Lakeside Park in Nelson on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at noon!
The event represents a fun opportunity for friends and families to participate in a community event in the middle of winter and It also contributes to Nelson’s vibrant reputation!
Join in on this fun and important event that raises money to improve the health of Kootenay Lake and power your local radio station.
Prizes will be awarded to the top TOP individual fundraisers.
Come for a dip and then warm up with chili, hot chocolate, coffee and a boogie to the sounds of a Kootenay Co-op radio DJ.
