The last few years have thrown a lot of curve balls at the West Kootenay’s economic sectors, including our outdoor sport and adventure retailers. Gericks Cycle and Ski have been supporting Kootenay Co-op Radio for a long time. The shop is under new ownership after long-time founder Ross McNamara sold it to two of his veteran staffers — Charles Arnold and Mark Weigeldt…Mark is with us today to give us an idea of how the adventure sports industry has changed with tumultuous times.
