Nelson Polar Bear Swim 2023

Sunday, January 1st 2023, Lakeside Park Beach in Nelson at Noon.
The Nelson Polar Bear Swim is an important event, where hundreds gather at Lakeside Park at noon on New Year’s Day to plunge into an icy cold Kootenay Lake. And all for what? To raise money for Kootenay Co-op Radio and Friends of Kootenay Lake!
A quick mix of local news and interviews with Kootenay newsmakers, neighbours, insiders, and the odd star.
News, music, spoken word, or documentary; you’ll always find something to listen to on Kootenay Co-op Radio!
