Five decades. Very creative decades in fact. That’s how long the Nelson and District Arts Council (NDAC) has been hosting artists events — events that have been instrumental in the support of local artists and their art. And the show is going on – NDAC will be offering a pandemic-is-hopefully-almost-over ArtWalk this year – an online gallery platform, which was an incredibly successful digital pivot in 2020, including ‘virtual venues’, which will host and promote local artists on their social media pages. The first of two openings is later this month — Friday, June 25. There’ll be another in July, on the 23rd.
ArtWalk Coordinator – Stephanie Myers stopped by Kootenay Morning on June 7.
