There’s been a significant spike in development in the West Kootenay’s main cities and towns. 
But there’s a sizeable and telling project that may come to be in a place folks mightn’t expect — the Slocan Junction.
A recent survey has found that residents of that RDCK neck of the wood want a large concert venue built between Nelson and Castlegar. 
And the Regional District of Central Kootenay is considering it. The precise location is called Campbell Field.
