It’s been a very quiet year for forest fires in the part of BC…but the threat is never far from the minds of many…including Kaslo’s Hamish Shaw. He is the founder of StormShieldDrones initiative and its Aether Shield wildfire prevention system. The high-tech and high-flying business proposal has received some noteworthy press as of late, including a letter of support from two Kootenay Ministers of Parliament.
