Who is Listening?

With transmitters in Nelson (93.5 FM), Crawford Bay (96.5 FM), New Denver (107.5 FM), and the Slocan Valley (101.5 FM) KCR reaches a potential audience of over 20,000 people.

According to a 2017 survey by the National Campus and Community Radio Association, listeners to community radio are more likely to be college and/or university educated and have annual household incomes of more than $50,000. In fact, the higher their income, the more likely they are to tune into community radio stations like KCR.
