An Evening with Terry Nelson

Conservationist and adventurer Terry Nelson will be in Nelson for one night to share photos and anecdotes from his new book “Big Trees of the Inland Temperate Forests of British Columbia.” This richly-illustrated field guide and big tree compendium is filled with fascinating facts and highlights from Terry’s 5-year quest to document inland BC’s most awe-inspiring trees. His adventures extend to the upper reaches of the Robson Valley in the north, to the Cascade Highlands in the west, to the Rocky Mountains in the east, and along the US border in the south.
Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. for a showtime of 7:30 p.m. Books will be on sale before the presentation, and there will be a book signing immediately following. Tickets are $10; available for advance purchase online at NelsonLit.ca/tix or via Eventbrite. Seating is limited to 150.
