Bookmark Author Series presents . . .
Three authors who write on environmental themes come together on Thursday, October 15 at 7pm for a reading and panel discussion at Taghum Hall. Calgary author Angela Waldie, launching her poetry collection A Single Syllable of Wild, is joined by Nelson novelist Sarah Louise Butler and adventure writer Jayme Moye, also from Nelson. Admission is by donation.
The Oct. 15 event, the fall offering of the Hall’s Bookmarks Author Series, examines the theme of writing the wild. Waldie, the event’s feature writer, will read from her collection, followed by short readings by Butler and Moye. The readings are followed by a panel discussion on “how we put the wild into words.”
Additionally, the authors will travel to the Nakusp Public Library on Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm for readings and discussion; for this event aartist/writer Petra Hekkenberg will take part in place of Sarah Butler.
