Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society Turns 10!

Did you hear? Friends of Kootenay Lake turns 10 this month!  That’s 10 years of impactful stewardship and education work dedicated to improving the health of Kootenay Lake.

To celebrate this awesome milestone, we would like to invite you to our “FoKLSS Turns 10” event happening on August 27, from 1-5pm. In typical FoKLSS fashion, we will be kicking off the event with a beach cleanup at the Nelson Dog walk and then heading to Backroads Brewing for a beer and social! This is an awesome opportunity to meet other passionate lake lovers, connect with staff and volunteers, and of course celebrate and reminisce on 10 years.

Backroads has also been kind enough to donate a portion of their sales to FoKLSS during this day!
