Kaslo Summer Music Series – OH PRAY TELL w/SHAYNA JONES at the Kaslo Front Street Park Stage

The Series continues with the harmony stomp & clap soul of Oh Pray Tell, joined by Kaslo’s own Shayna Jones Live at Kaslo Front Street Park Stage!
Stomp, clap, strum, SING. This is our humble offering. The first time we sang together, our harmonies seemed to merge into one voice, larger than the sum of its parts, growing roots through our feet, stirring magic in our bellies and hearts and emanating outward toward the stars… and we liked it. And so we keep singing, in honour of the ancestors, the children and this good earth. Having recently released their debut album, Origin, the folk/soul duo look forward to touring again in 2022.
Shayna Jones is an award winning professional performance artist specializing in the Traditional Oral Storytelling of African and Afro-Diasporic Folklore. As a professionally trained Actor, Vocalist, and Fine Mover, Shayna has performed for audiences across Canada. As a Folklorist, Shayna combines her passion for live performance with the in-depth study of Afro-centric Folk History, Folklore and Contemporary Experience.
