Kokanee Glacier Park 100th Birthday Party

Come to Gibson Lake on Saturday August 13 and mingle with your fellow Kokanee Glacier Park fans and friends. There will be a free shuttle bus running 3 trips leaving Kokanee Creek Park every 90 minutes from 8:45 with return afternoon trips. The celebration at 12:30 will have cake, speakers and Jerry the Moose. Members of the Friends of West Kootenay Parks will lead guided interpretive hikes around Gibson Lake starting at 9:30 and the Friends will be on hand with a commemorative t-shirt (very limited edition) and other Parks related items.
