Join us Friday October 7th at the Balfour Beach Inn for the last Kootenay Blues Society event of 2022.
Michael Charles is a blues/rock guitar player, singer and songwriter from Australia who is now living in the U.S. He is a Blues Hall Of Fame inductee, a nine time Grammy nominee and has released over thirty albums. He has performed with Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Eddy Clearwater and Junior Wells, among other blues luminary. He has been featured in numerous television and radio broadcasts and is the subject of a documentary chronicling his life and musical career. He has appeared at the Chicago Blues Fest, the Philadelphia Jazz and Blues Fest, the New Orleans Jazz and Blues Fest, the Regina Blues Fest and Buddy Guy’s Legends club in Chicago, USA, as well as numerous venues all across Canada, the U.S. and Australia.
