Short Stories: Portraits in Jazz is an evocative vocal jazz performance that blends narrative-rich originals with timeless standards from the American Songbook. Featuring songs from Don Macdonald’s album Short Stories, the concert journeys through tales of identity, longing, romance, and resilience. Each song is a vignette—a life in miniature—brought vividly to life by Macdonald’s expressive voice and musical storytelling.
