Therese DesCamp Book Launch

Join us at the library for the book launch of Hands Like Roots: Notes on an Entangled Contemplative Life. Authored by New Denver resident Therese DesCamp, the book weaves together science, spirituality, and a love of life. DesCamp integrates a grab-bag of knowledge—hydrology, climate instability, cognitive science, embodiment—with her inner experiences of prayer and meditation. The resulting essays are accessible, poetic, vulnerable and surprising. DesCamp will discuss her book, and answer your questions.
Books will be available for purchase. All are welcome and no registration necessary!
