Trail Night Markets

The Night Markets will also return on July 7 and August 4 from 5-8.30 pm! Organized by Trail & District Arts Council in partnership with Trail’s incrEDIBLE Farmer’s Market, The Night Market is a fun evening of food, vendors, beer garden, and of course live music.
The July 7 Night Market will is headlined by the genre hopping music of Petunia and the Vipers at 7 pm, described as hillbilly-flavoured-swing inflected-ragtime-goodtime-thunderously rolling-one-of-a-kind-you-don’t-want-to-miss-this-sort-of-a-show. Opening the night will be the gritty and soulful Canadian roots music of The Judy Brown Band at 6:15 pm.
Then, the August 4 Night Market has the tough and tender ballads of Jenie Thai as headliner. Jenie plays barrelhouse piano steeped in the blues with influences from musicians including Tom Waits, Memphis Slim, Nina Simone, and Bonnie Raitt. Opening the evening is the soulful, funky, fun, danceable blues of the Holly Hyatt Trio at 6:15 pm.
