Winter Carnival

The upcoming Winter Carnival held is sure to be a hit with people of all ages! There is a line up of live performances with music, dance, fire and for the little ones, puppets! A BYODrum Circle with Cypher and an Open Mic will give a chance for patrons to shine as well. Peter Vogelaar, world renowned sculpturist, will facilitate a free snow sculpture workshop to be held the morning of the carnival from 8am to noon. Register with lisa.parente@live.ca to create your own snow sculpture or do it as a group. Children are to be accompanied by an adult. Peter will also build an ice slide for sledding and carve ice lanterns. Expect a truly magical ambiance! Throughout the day expect raffle prize draws, carnival games and food and artisan vendors. Bring snow shoes for Snow Shoe Baseball! Stay warm by fire pits with hot drinks. The day ends with a free Ecstatic Dance afterparty at The Legion, located at 502 Harold St, from 10pm- 1am. A complimentary cacao beverage will be offered!
