Write Off the Bat!
Write Off the Bat! returns to Taghum Hall for its third year! It’s an on-site, theme-based writing marathon, juried competition (jurying is optional), and a chance to hang with fellow writers—and get fed. The weekend’s supportive environment includes morning pep-talks from celebrated local authors and a delicious lunch each day, plus snacks and coffee and tea. The weekend offers a chance to get to know other writers, so that writerly conviviality might continue beyond the event. Writers can choose from two registration fees at www.taghumhall.ca depending on whether they want to join the competition or simply have some unfettered writing time, with witnesses.
