For long time West Kootenay residents, especially those who relied on the cannabis legacy industry for a living, or parts of it…if it were the good old days… it would be close to harvest time. How those times have changed. With not one but two multi million dollar cannabis growing and distribution developments underway on either side of Nelson, it’s clear that once the smoke settles on an entirely legalized industry currently grappling with growing pains, no pun intended, there are some very legit and hopefully profitable additions to the region’s economy coming on stream.
