In May, KCR is the organization of the month at the Kootenay Coop!
We are very grateful to the Kootenay Coop for this opportunity. To support Kootenay Co-op Radio, do your shopping at the Coop and add a donation to your purchase or offer your change!
You will support many projects such as the tower move, the renovations in the basement and more!
It costs about $120,000 to keep Kootenay Co-op Radio on the air — 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. That incredibly small sum covers everything: mortgage, utilities, taxes, artist fees and the very modest wages we pay our three part-time staff.
Our revenues come from four main sources: fundraising events; sponsorships; occasional government and foundation grants — and you, the listener.
