Namaste. That’s the message coming from the inaugural Kootenay Yoga Festival, a first in the region.
The event is scheduled to kick-off June 11 to 13 with a schedule to be released in the coming days.
Amy Heasman is the founder of the festival, and she joined Kootenay Morning on May 12 to fill KCR in about the fresh event, sure to be a staple of the Kootenay cultural events calendar.
Heasman touched on moving to Nelson From London in the U.K., how she first got interested in Yoga, her own practice and what the inspiration for the event was.
