This May, show your love for KCR during our 2026 Membership and Fundraising Drive! From May 8th to the 23rd, we’re celebrating independent media with live music, guest hosts, and big giveaways. Supporting Kootenay Co-op Radio means protecting the authentic human heartbeat of our region. In an age of AI and shrinking local news, KCR is the independent voice that truly belongs to the community.
Your support helps us reach our $10,000 goal to finish our basement music venue, replace stolen equipment, and upgrade our technology. Since 1999, we’ve been powered by neighbors, not algorithms. From emergency wildfire updates to giving local artists their “first spin,” KCR celebrates the unique spirit of the Kootenays.

Head to Lions Park as we wrap up our Spring Drive with a fantastic community celebration! We’ll have live music, dance performances, food trucks, kids’ crafts, a bouncy castle, a volleyball tournament, and so much more! See you at the park!
