With critics calling on BC to do more and a summer surge in COVID-19 cases on the West Coast, we learn more from KCR correspondent Jane Burton about how the Province is responding to recent criticism amid the global pandemic

House parties, an increase in COVID cases among the young, and BC no longer being called the model it once was for preventing the spread of the Virus. A summer surge has seen the Province responding to recent criticism from the CBC and others who say the West Coast is no longer the shining example it once was.

The regulations passed down see tickets for as much as $2000 being handed down to those who hold gatherings in contravention of public health guidelines.

“There is a small minority of selfish across the province who are disregarding the public health orders in place,” Solicitor General Mark Farnsworth said at a press conference last Friday.
