KCR releases its first BOOK! Update!

Kootenay Co-op Radio is releasing its very first book! I Know Your Voice celebrates 25 years of KCR through the photographs of Fred Rosenberg and others, and features essays and quotes from past and present KCR volunteers, staff, and members.

I Know Your Voice is a collaboration between the Upper Columbia Co-op Council, Nelson & District Credit Union, and the Kootenay Country Store Co-op, and was created entirely by KCR volunteers. It’s both a fundraiser for the station and an ideal holiday gift.

The 25th Anniversary KCR Book Has Arrived!

Enjoy two hundred pages of pure love for community radio and co-ops in the Kootenays; a vibrant celebration of the people, stories, and spirit that have shaped KCR over the past quarter century.

If you’ve already purchased or reserved your copy, or if you’d like to grab one of the 45 remaining copies, we’ll be hosting pickup days at the station next week.

Come by and pick up your book(s)! We’ve printed two distinct covers, and you’re welcome to choose the one you like best.

IMPORTANT ⚠️: Please note that we are not shipping the book. You must be in Nelson to pick it up at Kootenay Co-op Radio (308 Hall St, Nelson) at release time in early December.
