If you care at all about the earth’s changing climate and its frightening outcome, these are dire and urgent times.

Whether it’s extreme weather, floods or wildfire events, climate impacts the very communities where we live, work, and play.

Next Thursday, Selkirk College is helping present a knowledge sharing event called Bridging Silos.

It’s hosted by the Columbia Basin Rural Development Institute in partnership with Simon Fraser University’s Adapting to Climate Change Team at and the Planning Institute of BC’s Kootenay Rockies Chapter.

Jayme Jones is a researcher with the Institute. She spoke with Kootenay Co-op Radio about climate action, a new approach to big Zoom events, and hope.
