It was a big night for old time music at Kaslo’s historic Langham Theatre on June 16 & 7. Jim Van Horn presented Best Of The Old Tyme Country Band Gems From the Past.
The creator and leader of the Old Tyme Country Band’s upcoming extravaganza, Kaslo’s own Jim Van Horne is also the host of Kootenay Co-op’s Radio’s popular Liner Notes program.
Randy Morse from Radio Free Kaslo sat down with Jim and chatted with him about his love of both radio and “old time” music. They also talked about Liner Notes, the upcoming Langham shows, and bonus, Randy played a few of Jim’s favourite tunes.
