Like a favourite niece who’s gone off to college, or a local sports star who’s made the pros, this past week was a big one for rookie Nelson-Creston MLA Brittny Anderson, and for those who voted for her, or didn’t.
Anderson, who was an up and coming city councillor here in Nelson until she was tapped to replace veteran MLA Michelle Mungall, went and won last fall’s provincial election.
This past week she made her first visit to the province’s capital, to see her new office, team and boss. It was quite a trip.
MLA Anderson spoke with CJLY on the March 19 edition of Kootenay Morning.
