The longest provincial state of emergency in B.C.’s history is officially over as of yesterday. 

British Columbians are into the second full day of Step 3 of the province’s post pandemic re-start plan. And things are looking like they will change back to normal, new normal maybe, very fast. You’re not alone if you think perhaps too fast. 

Nelson Mayor John Dooley stopped by Kootenay Morning on July 2 to talk about what the city and West Kootenay region is bracing for as locals, travellers and business ready for what could be a very accelerated pace to the summer.
