Main Street Diner owner Nick Diamond says he has thick skin, but the recent influx in tourists in the community—some of whom treated his staff unfairly—forced Diamond to shutter his doors.
Diamond closed the Main Street Diner on Baker Street this past Saturday citing a number of customers who flaunted COVID rules. The restaurant reopened on Tuesday.
He stopped by Kootenay Morning on April 7 to chat a bit about his decision and offer some advice to other business owners plagued by unruly customers.
