For 22 years Tara Hunter’s parents have travelled the world by boat. They were sailing in the middle of the ocean when a global pandemic put a halt to their plans and a terminal cancer diagnosis caught Hunter and her family by surprise.

After scrambling to get together close to $180,000 to pay mom’s medical bills and get her home to Ontario, Hunter is asking the local community to help her family who have taken out loans to get mom the care she needs.
