Nicole Charlwood will run for the BC Green Party seeking the Nelson-Creston seat in the legislature in Victoria. It is her first run for public office.

Charlwood joined Kootenay Morning on Oct. 5 to talk a bit about her campaign platform and what it would mean to represent the residents of the Nelson-Creston riding in Victoria.

“Our system is fragile and not equipped to handle the changes being made,” said Charlwood.

“And that leads to an 11 per cent unemployment rate, for example.”

Charlwood has previously worked for the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Bank of Montreal.

She says social Justice is at the core of BC Green Party policy.
