The Kootenays have raised a heap of world-class skiers and snowboarders over the years. One of the first greats is a man who’s flown under the radar for many years, but at one time was considered one of the best slalom skiers in the world. His name is Bob Swan. Jackie Atkins is a coach with Whitewater’s U16 race team…and now a documentary filmmaker. She’s produced a short film on Bob Swan, called Swabber. And the film couldn’t come at a better time.
