Anyone who walks their dog, hikes, trail runs or mountain bikes, knows Nelson’s beautiful Mountain Station area well. Located just above Uphill and Fairview, the trail network that heads up the mountain from the Nelson Salmo Great Northern Trail, which stretches from Troupe Junction to Salmo.
For years, Mountain Station has been used by the public — thanks in good part to the good will of the folks who own much of the mountainside and its timber rights.
