Even in the midst of a pandemic, Nelson will not forget. This year, the ceremonies for Remembrance Day will gather a smaller crowd, while the public is invited to join virtually.
President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51, Bill Andreaschuk, told Kootenay Morning what people can expect on Nov. 11. He also gave listeners a sneak-peek into the recent renos at the Legion HQ. (Did you know members of the public can now swing by, and enjoy the coldest beer in town?)
