Thank you to everyone who took part in the 9th Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ on March 10 and March 11! The Kootenay Blues Society raised $2095 for Kootenay Co-op Radio. We are very grateful for their continued support! The Balfour Beach Inn and Finley’s Bar & Grill, which hosted the events, helped us make it a success. So a big Thank You to both! The featured band, Ethan Askey & the Elevators, got the crowd dancing to the sound of upbeat blues music. “We feel honored to be your Blues, Brews & BBQ feature for 2023. You’re a class act, Kootenay Blues Society! Hope it all helped put some gas in the tank of Kootenay Co-op Radio.” said Ethan after he returned safely to Calgary.
