Drawing: The Essential Language
Are you interested in learning how to observe the world around you through drawing? Then this course is perfect for you. Join us for 6 classes to explore composition, layout, expressive mark-making, perspective and fundamental value/texture drawing techniques. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence and skill to accurately depict subject matter in three-dimensional space using pencil, ink and watercolour. Please pre-register.

Art Throwdown at The Royal
Join us at The Royal for two heats of three artists that will compete live on stage, each with one hour to create a physical artwork—painting, drawing, pyrography, and more! Featuring tunes by @dubconscious

Shifting Perspectives
On Sunday November 23 the Vallican Whole Art Gallery will host an Open House between 3 and 5 pm.
We invite people to come and view the marvellous show “Shifting Perspectives", featuring the photographs of Margaret Parker, Susan Faye, and Jeremy Addington - fantastic light-paintings, intimate landscapes, and vivid storytelling moments - and also showcasing eloquent sculptures by Veronica Verkley, which fill the space with inter-species conversations.
Come and be inspired, have some snacks, and imagine how you might be involved as participants and/or volunteers in future shows and events. All are welcome!
