The Black & Rural Project
Black and Rural is a nationally funded artistic inquiry into the hearts minds of black folks tucked away on Canada’s countryside. Through this project, Shayna aims to seek out, honour and theatrically showcase stories from rural based Blacks (like herself) and to defy the monolith of what matters to Black Lives. She was at Kootenay Morning to talk about it. On December 8th, Shayna will be the featured artist at KCR LIVE!
