BCDC opens for the Canucks first full house since the pandemic …and keep on rockin after 22 years
They were born from a bush party in the summer of 1999. Over 1000 unexpected gigs later, Nelson’s BC/DC has redefined the concept of a tribute band, garnering iconic status amongst diehard fans, agents, and venues from the backyard biker bashes of Ymir to star-studded gigs in Las Vegas, even Shanghai, China. Tuesday night, the band played in front of the first full house that Rogers Arena has seen since before the pandemic, for the Vancouver Canucks’ season opener…. BCDC lead singer Brendan Raftery, aka, Brian Bon Johnscottson, spoke with Kootenay Morning.
