Angela Waldie book launch – Nakusp

Three authors who write on environmental themes come together on Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm for a reading and panel discussion at Taghum Hall. Calgary author Angela Waldie, launching her poetry collection A Single Syllable of Wild, is joined by Nelson adventure writer Jayme Moye, and New Denver artist and author Petra Hekkenberg. The event examines the theme of writing the wild. Waldie, the event’s feature writer, will read from her collection, followed by short readings by Butler and Moye. The readings are followed by a panel discussion on “how we put the wild into words.”
