Beyond Awareness: Why World Autism Acceptance Day Matters with Jenine Lillian
Join BC People First and Board Member Jenine Lillian who is #ActuallyAutistic as well as a neurodiversity consultant & educator for this FREE Zoom session about harmful myths and misconceptions about autism. World Autism Awareness Day happens every April 2 and many autistic individuals are changing the name to World Autism Acceptance Day to encourage the shift from awareness to action.
This event will include a short presentation by Jenine followed by an AMA (Ask me anything) session for anyone wondering how to get support for themselves or a family member who is neurodivergent, especially autistic.
