Building Momentum Bikepacking Ride & Block Printing Workshop

May 30 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
$68.49

Join us for a ride from Mountain Station to Cottonwood. Then we will learn how to block print bandanas and take a ride home :).

Join us on May 30 for a ride and a Block Printing Workshop. We will start at mountain station and ride to Cottonwood Regional Park. We will meet block printing artist Gillian Kloet, who will teach us the art of block printing on our own bandanas. Then we will make our way back to mountain station to finish the ride.

Limited to 12 participants. All block printing materials provided. Light snacks and beverages will also be provided. Please pack your own lunch, appropriate clothing, and bike repair kits.

Please note that bandanas will need one week to cure. Bandana pick-up will be relayed to participants during the workshop.

Building Momentum Bikepacking is offering one free registration spot for a BIPOC woman or non-binary participant to attend our upcoming Ride + Block Printing Workshop. This scholarship has been made possible by a donation from the Oxygen Art Centre. Outdoor and cycling spaces have not always felt welcoming to everyone. This scholarship is one small way we hope to help change that. This scholarship is intended to reduce financial barriers and support more diverse participation in bikepacking and outdoor community spaces.
