Fishing Forever – June 14 & 15 @ Cottonwood Lake

It’s time to put “FISHING FORVER” on your calendar for June 14/15. Fishing Forever is an opportunity to go fishing on Cottonwood Lake, complete with a lunch, all provided by the Nelson Rod and Gun Club in conjunction with the BC Wildlife Federation and Freshwater Fisheries.
Saturday June 14Th is targeted to disabled, senior, and mobility challenged individuals accompanied by caregivers. Just show up. Rods, reels, line, life jackets, bait are all supplied. Each participant will be toured around Cottonwood lake trolling for stocked rainbows.
The Sunday focuses on KIDS!!! June 15th is Father’s Day! The child must be accompanied by a parent or Guardian. Otherwise everything is supplied. Each participant gets a lunch (hotdog, burger, drink) and, if they catch a fish, a rod/reel outfit to take home. Times both days are 9:00 to 4:00 weather dependant.
