On Saturday, April 22nd at Finley’s Bar and Grill Kootenay Blues Society presents: An April Blues Birthday Bash– a Triple Header with 3 Kootenay blues bands – White Lightning Blues, Rock and Boogie Band, The Hurrie, Brown, Hamilton, Alexandre Band and Holly Hyatt’s Blues Compadres. Come celebrate the music of legendary blues artists born in the month of April. The list includes, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, Albert King, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday and more.
