Love and Information – Mt. Sentinel Secondary Performance and Media Academy Showcase
The Mount Sentinel Performance and Media Academy is excited to announce their 9th annual year end showcase at the Capitol Theatre in Nelson, BC. This year they are producing Scenes from Love and Information by acclaimed British playwright Cary Churchill. Love and Information is a play that twists together human interaction and incorporates it with visual technology. A kaleidoscope of scenes – this play asks the question “how does information technology impact human relationships?” Directed by Martina Avis and five student directors, this show features student-created production designs including multi-media projections, original sound, costumes, and sets. Over 40 brief scenes played by a cast of 23 actors make for an exciting mosaic of funny, sad, and profoundly human moments.
Scenes from Love and Information plays at the Capitol Theatre on June 12 at 7pm and June 13 at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets cost $20 plus fees and can be purchased through the Capitol Theatre website. We hope to see you there!
